We’ve worked with CSSC for a year half now, offering the extremely successful My Savings+ member benefits platform to their members.
Parliament Hill was invited for a second year to attend CSSC’s Annual Conference at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel. It’s a prestigious event for CSSC, and brings together all of the key influential stakeholders (staff, volunteers and partners) in the organisation.
The conference was attended by approximately 300 CSSC volunteers, and was a great way for Parliament Hill to speak directly to the CSSC volunteers that not only use our member benefits platform, but actively endorse it to other CSSC members.
In the morning and afternoon, we exhibited our platform and interacted with the volunteers. It was great to see some of the familiar faces from last year, as well as meeting some of the newer volunteers. A number of volunteers at the conference are avid users of our platform and one said they had already saved in access of £1000!!
On the day, we ran two competitions. One was a free to enter raffle, the other being an interactive game on a Nintendo Wii, with a top prize of a Fitbit Charge 2. This resulted in a highly competitive end to the afternoon!
CSSC also kindly invited us to attend their evening award presentation and dinner. It was a great way to understand, and see first-hand, the incredible hard work the volunteers put in over the course of the year. It’s fantastic to see the way CSSC recognise and appreciate their volunteers.
The day culminated with an opportunity for us to put on our dancing shoes. We were soon told to put those shoes away and never put them on again! #2leftfeet
