Parliament Hill secures Green Mark Level two Accreditation

Parliament Hill are delighted that we have received a Green Mark Level 2 accreditation! Green Mark provides an internationally recognised environmental certification for companies that want to assure their clients and employees that they are conducting business to recognised environmental standards.

Having begun our Green Mark journey last year and receiving a Level 1 certification previously, we are extremely proud of the progress that we have made in the past 12 months. This has included:

  • Regular surveys of our stakeholders
  • A newsletter to the team with tips and advice on how to be work and live more sustainably
  • Creating and updating policies that support our team on working sustainably at home.
  • The launch of our sustainability Hub

We have a lot more planned over the next 12 months too.

Through the process Green Mark helped us create a framework to make sure we have the correct tools to monitor and reduce our emissions going forward, as well as communicating internally and externally how we are doing this.

Here are some of our environmental policies:

  • We support all of our staff and encourage them to work in an 'sustainable' way, whether that is in an office environment or from home.
  • We will educate and support staff in their home working environment to make sustainable decisions.
  • Where possible we will partner with and support appropriate external sector organisations to help them to move forward their wider sustainability agenda.
  • We will continually assess our direct and indirect impacts and keep an updated impact report.
